Woke up a little later today. Cause we can reach school later, just reach before the first lesson starts. Yay!
When i opened the door, a stray cat just ran in. I got a shock! It has orange or light brown fur and it is quite big. It was like running about the house and my mum was trying to get it out of the house. haha, i guess it was bored outside so it ran in when i opened the door. In the end, my mum did not do anything and it just ran out by itself again. Didn't see it when I got home though. Wonder how it managed to come in!
School's quite okay. Need do a few more practice papers for Chinese. Chinese O level paper is next week.
Got to go do homework now. How I wish next week can just come and pass quickly. Time flies:D

Had meeting this(rather, yesterday) morning. Went to eat lunch with Rachel and Shirlene after that. Ordered a bowl of Tau Suan and I could not finish it. Felt so full after eating the Tau Suan and the Salad prawn rice.
Went to celebrate Grandaunt's birthday just now. Had dinner at this restaurant. The birthday cake is huge! With 8 big candles on it:D The menu includes a suckling pig, mushroom with broccoli, some dessert (i don't know what is it called),prawns and some others! I ate three prawns and this is the first time I actually tried peeling the prawns myself=D I didn't know that Philbert likes to eat fish n fried chicken so much...Ate the birthday cake after that. It's creamy n delicious!
Reached home around 11.50pm. Cause we took the MRT. Feeling so tired now. Shall go sleep soon.

Yesterday was day of reflection. We listened. We shared. We sang. It was fun listening to the sharings. Heard people sobbing. We said a prayer for our friends. We will treasure our last year together.
After lunch, went to NTUC fairprice with Shirlene, Li Ying, Joanne, Joanne's friend and Janice. Went to check out some prices for the foodstuff. It feels like we are doing some kind of market survey.
Went to flying club with Janice. So cool! I saw the planes but the helicopter was not there yesterday:( It's so cool! Then we went to the cafe and attempted to do maths hw but we failed to. We were stuck on this trigo qs for freaking 30 minutes. I really need to do more maths practices at home. Thanks for bringing me there Janice!:D
Have CCA later. Today is marking day. Gotta leave the house soon. Tonight got Legend of The Seeker. Gonna watch it:)

Today is marking day. Great man, can stay at home! O Level Chinese Paper is coming really soon--10 November. Got exam papers back last week, results not satisfactory.
Had Tea Tiffin with Poetry workshop last Thursday. It is interesting. However, it does not really ignite my passion for poetry. 3 Hope put up a performance with the poem, The Lion by Roald Dahl.
Stayed back in school on Friday. Shin Wei, I love your childhood stories, I wanna hear more! Had lunch with lee yin, yiyin, Shin wei n Felicia. We had a great laughing time!
Have to do homework now. Bye:D

Did BIO SPA on Monday. Gosh, really hoped that everything will turn out ok~Then in the afternoon there was Jap Presentation. I laughed like twice while saying the lines! But nvm, it's already over...After that. there was a taiko performance! It's so cool and loud! Woohoo~~~
Exams are coming really soon! Gotta start studying soon!
Did lit coursework at Jia Jia's house on two consecutive Sundays. It's pretty cool filming the scene. Haha, we did many funny things to get it done. As in amusing stuff. Yeah. Hope that we can finish this coursework asap!

Met up with Geraldine just now. She's gonna have a German buddy staying with her for 14 days! So cool! Yeah, was chatting with her at macs and through our conversation, I realised that life in VJ is so different from the one in St Nicks. But, at least, I am enjoying myself in St Nicks although it's like i am doing badly for my studies now~~~She gave me this crocodile-like stapler for my b'day present! thanks so much! Hope to meet up with you again soon, Geraldine! U have to get your present from me!!!
Doing maths homework. Now need to do 5 qs from emaths n 5 qs from amaths 10-year series everyday. Good practice for someone like me, I can't do maths properly. Gonna improve! My grades are sliding down like mad!
Gotta go do maths hw now. Just attempting to revive my blog alittle:D

Back from 5 days of work at The Square@Furama!
Day One:Furama Riverfront Hotel is a 4-star hotel, according to what Shanice(hope i spelled her name correctly) said during a brief orientation. Took bus 851, almost late can! Supposed to reach earlier but then we reached at 8.55 am, a far cry from the time we intended to reach at initially, 8.30 am...Then went to change, fill in some stuff, listened to the brief oral orientation that Shanice gave and started the tour guided by Corrinne(hope i get her name right too) around the hotel.
There's this huge tennis court along with a swimming pool a few metres away! There's this SPA too and it's like so cool...then the gym, minimum entry age is 16 so pei ying n I can't go in yeah:D
Went to have lunch around 12 before starting work. They provide free lunch for the staff!:D During work, Suraini or Surani is guiding me like what to do and everything. Clearing of plates, wiping the tables, setting them up again and everything...Then there's this auntie whose daughter was from st nicks too! She has graduated like years ago and is studying in Australia now. Cool!
Stations A,B,C,D,E,F
The other waiters and waitresses are patient in guiding me too, like teaching me how to carry the tray properly and everything...then i realised that they are some of them among us who are also trainees:D haha!
Went to kitchen and slipped. Just step in and just fell. like WOAH! ok, luckily i landed on my bottom so yeah, not that bad la. Went for break at 4.30 pm before being dismissed at 5. Realised that court shoes' soles are so worn out so after work went to buy a new pair. Can wear for CO anw....
Day Two and Three:
We met earlier and reached earlier. Started work at 9. Same old thing. Clear plates. Set Up. yeah...This particular morning, when we reached, this guy called Gerald was briefing us on the various roles each individual staff in the restaurant plays like those bringing customers in to their seat(forgot what is that role called,heehee), blahblahblah...
Was doing at this station then was there with another waitress, The auntie is nice:D She has been working in the hotel and yeah, maybe if you go for huge functions or banquets you may see her:D Don't remember her name. But i remembered her face ok? yeah, then she was like telling me to work hard, study hard. haha! nice auntie:D
Then went to the kitchen to wipe glassess before refilling them at the respective stations.

Day Five:
Was doing at Station B then yeah, got this waiter, used to be from St Andrews Secondary. He's quite nice. Was like telling me to set up cause he said clearing is for guys since it will be quite heavy to carry the stuff...
TO HIM(if he ever gets to view my blog): In the kitchen right, Pei Ying told me after you had left that you actually asked me if I wanna take a picture but I seriously didn't hear it and ignored you. Yeah, so sorry! I didn't even have any idea that you actually asked me.
Then after that Pei Ying wanna take a pic with this waitress then we went to locker there to take camera. Yeah. I saw the guy again. I turned to tell Pei Ying to get the camera herself from my locker and I turned back, he is gone. Haiz, never mind la! I didn't get to take pics with Suraini, Lynn and other waitressess too:(
lockersDidn't get to see their name tags clearly so couldn't get their name. So yeah, that's why I went this waitress,this guy, that auntie, blahblahblah...
Went back to the kitchen to continue wiping cutlery...
Then asked the manager Cai Wen(I think that's his name, gosh! I really have some serious short-term memory!)to sign some stuff after we reported back to HR and yeah, I guessed the staff in at The Square were racking their brains over on how to fill in the evaluation forms? haha! When we got back to HR again then we realised that the questions below were supposed to be filled in my Ms Susan Ha. She's in-chargeof our job attachment at the hotel...nvm...

haha! Maybe I will go back there again one day to have a meal there! I am so tempted to try those delicious-looking food!
Now need concentrate on finishing all my homework before school starts! Gotta go!

Went to Science Centre on 2 June. Did some restriction enzymes on DNA thingy. Quite ok la. Wanted to eat macs for lunch but apparently the queue was so long so yuen ping, me, adeline and pei ying went out to eat instead:D
After the whole thing ended, went to IMM to walk with Lee Yin. Then we saw Wei En and Kai Sing. I saw the original Boys Over Flowers soundtrack album at Popular. But i didn't buy it...
Went to do flag day with Xueshi and Lee Yin on 3 June. For the Singapore Children's Society. We were assigned to do at Novena. After doing awhile outside Square 2, Lee Yin and I went to do outside United Square there, leaving Xueshi there cause she said there got quite alot of people and the "business" is good. HA!
Then went to have lunch at Macs. Then went back to outside Square 2 there to do. Xueshi and Leeyin were standing under the shelter and I was out there. Cause we don't wanna stand too near to each other yeah...
Then went home. Was slacking. Only did the morning shift for flag day. Don't feel like starting on homework yet. Till now, haven't even touch yet. Maybe I shall just touch on a few today!

Went to watch Much Ado About Nothing on Thursday! Went down for cca first after Chinese mock, then leave with leeyin, simin and yuen ping. Reached amk hub and saw this television showing Boys Over Flowers and simin got so high that she screamed...WOAH!
Then took train down to dhoby ghaut and walked all the way to fort canning park. Pei Ying took out her printed map and this guy saw us navigating and actually offered to give us directions! Yeah, so we followed the directions given and finally reached the place. Quite crowded by the time we reached there...
Sat on the mat Yuen Ping bought. Was munching on chips and Famous Amos cause we were so hungry! After that, Kimberly, mackie and Amanda faith came. Spread out a larger mat and we sat on it. Amanda Chai, Vanessa, Carolyn, Megan, Lynette and Angeline came after that.
Love the play man! SO INTERESTING!:D There's actually this pool like thingy and it was so warm that we feel like jumping into it...Shared chips and more food.
The play ended around 10? yeah, on our way home, we went to take more pics and I reached home at 11.15++?yeah, that was late...for me...
Was supposed to go watch RJCO concert on Saturday one. She la. Don't let me go...then had to sell my ticket at the last minute:(never mind...it's over anyway...
Very sian. nothing much to do at yet. I am a procrastinator. So I know I shan't start on my homework yet. haha.

Jubilate on friday was so fun! Went to republic poly straight after Social Studies Test. Reached there around 9 plus then had our first rehearsal. Was like slacking in the holding room. Rachel took so many random pics of us!
Went to subway after that. Xinru bought cookies and we were enjoying ourselves there taking random pics again. Then we walk here, walk there before going back for lunch.
Can see hui jun's and rachel's face:DWent to buy bubble tea after that! Had honeydew ice tea I think. Jessica bought like 4 or 5 champagne grape milk tea i guess. haha, she was helping people to ta pau. Went back to holding room after that...Xinru was still helping people to tie plaits. She helped me re-tie too. Thanks:D
Then walked about after that then went for finale rehearsal before having dinner. Got hashbrown and fried fish i think!:D Then went to put make-up. Esther, Xue Jun and Sandra helped me with it. Thanks:D

We waited freaking long on stage. Finally the concert started. We played our best! It was a great performance! YAY!:D
Then after the performance, we load the instruments up the truck before walking about, trying to watch the performance. Karina gave us roses! Yay! But she missed our performance! It's ok.
Then during the interval, I saw Geraldine, Jia Jia and Sze Lyn. Three of them gave me flowers! Thank you. Your flowers are safe with me now, in a container half-filled with water:D
Went to backstage to see some other performances before going on stage for finale. After that went home with mummy, philbert and sock yie. Was feeling so tired when I reached home. Went to sleep at 2 plus.Zzz...
Meeting up with leeyin, yuen ping and pei ying later to do Social Studies Stretch assignment....Gotta go now! need go get ready. bye!
